NATIONAL CONVENTION
INCREASE YOUR AWARENESS ON CPD CREDIT UNITS
FOR AWARENESS. When attending seminars, trainings, conferences or conventions in the field of mechanical engineering, kindly ASK or CHECK for the program accreditation number with its corresponding CPD credit units. Ask also the organizers if it can be used when renewing our mechanical engineering licenses.
THIS will SAVE us TIME and MONEY.
We encourage PMEs, MEs and CPMs to attend seminars, trainings, conferences, or conventions from an accredited CPD provider for Mechanical Engineering as we in PSIM will provide the necessary services accorded from a CPD provider. PSIM is a SEC-recognized organization and the ONLY National Organization of the Mechanical Engineering Profession accredited by the PRC CPD Council as CPD Provider. For your reference, see below certificate which was given to the delegates of the 2nd PSIM National Convention with APPROVED 24 CPD credit units.
This year, at our 3rd PSIM National Convention, delegates will earn 24 APPROVED CPD credit units for face-to-face setup and 12 APPROVED CPD credit units for online/virtual setup.

The Board of Mechanical Engineering, the 2022 and the 2023 PSIM Board of Trustees, fellow Mechanical Engineers from different Chapters now here live and in our live stream, My friend Deans of Mapua & UST, Student Officers from Mapua, PUP and FEU Alabang, Guests, Friends, ladies and gentlemen… good evening and welcome.
I am humbled by the trusts being given me by co-practitioners in our field. I was asked then, by Hon. Jay Jay Cruz to head the Welfare Committee 3 years back, and because, it is what is truly in my heart I accepted. Then, I was elected in a position of real importance during a FORMATIVE Stage of any organization, the National Treasurer.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
FACE-TO-FACE OATH-TAKING OF THE NEW PROFESSIONAL MECHANICAL ENGINEERS, MECHANICAL ENGINEERS, AND CERTIFIED PLANT MECHANICS
The face-to-face mass oath-taking of the new Professional Mechanical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Certified Plant Mechanics will be held on September 30, 2023, at 1:00 P.M., at the Plenary Hall, Philippine International Convention Center, Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.
All successful examinees interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 NN of the day prior to the date of the oathtaking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance. Inductees are required to PRINT the Oath Form with their own generated QR. This will be submitted during the oathtaking in order to be tagged as “attended”. Further, kindly bring ANY of the following on the day of the oathtaking:
• Vaccination Card
• Negative RT-PCR results taken within 48 hours before the oath-taking
Those who will not be able to attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oathtaking may attend the online oathtaking or request a special oathtaking. Online Oath-taking announcements will be posted once the schedule is confirmed. After the oath-taking, inductees shall proceed with their Initial Registration by securing an online appointment at http://online.prc.gov.ph.
For more information on the oathtaking proper, you may contact the oathtaking organizers (thru SMS/Viber) at 0905-429-8533, Mondays to Fridays from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM., or proceed to Room 315, 3rd Floor Don Lorenzo Building, 889 P. Paredes St., Sampaloc, Manila.
